About the Event
Award-winning, best-selling author Raina Telgemeier talks about her work and her creative journey, from mini-comics to The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novel adaptations, to her personal autobiographical work. A beloved pioneer of American children's comics, Telgemeier has been a force for change in graphic novels today as they moved beyond the comics store space to the shelves in bookstores, libraries, and schools -- and into the hands of kids. This will be followed by a book signing.
The Boston Comic Arts Foundation presents this event in partnership with Boston University and Brookline Booksmith (our bookstore partner).
Seats are all general admission and not pre-assigned.
Please note: because of time constraints, Raina Telgemeier will be able to sign a maximum of two books per person. Additional Raina Telgemeier books will be available for sale at the event.
